Happy Crab

I am new to the world of crabs. A few years ago when I did not know anything about them, I seen a store in the mall called Happy Crab. The crabs were not happy at all!!! They were kept in a large topless cage so that there was no possible humidity. And people would walk around poking and scaring the poor things from above, like a seagull. Im not even sure if there was a heat source. All crabs were in painted shells. Guess what they charged for their dying unhappy crabs?? $50-$100!!!!! A while later after I starting noticing they go as little as $5 elsewhere. What a rip off!! I dont mind them charging a little bit higher for them, but that is just outrageous! Plus they were selling them in teenie tiny critter keepers, not even the medium size. I bet they closed down due to complaining costumers buying overpriced crabs that died.
