when she told me, i was surprised. it's like they're prejudice against little animals, know what i mean? thanks for the link! unfortunately the only petland in MO is on the opposite side of the state from me! i'll have to take a road trip some weekend! there's a couple people on here who have praised petland. i want to check it out!

wow, I didn't realize there weren't that many petlands in MO! figured for sure there'd be one out in St.Louis! heck, I live in Kansas City, and Independence is freaking 45 min away from me!

certina petlands are good, the one by my house is not, but the one farther the way is nice. Ha, isn't that just perfect, the nice stores are alwats far from your house.

exactly! i'm going to have to check out the closest petsmart to cape (80+ miles) on my way home this weekend. it's kinda annoying!

I have a lot of relatively close pet stores:
PetLand
Complete Pet Mart
PetsMart (or Pet Smart)
Jack's Aquarium and Pets (this is a little far...20 minutes tops)

i'm so jealous! all i'm close to, here in my college town and in my home town, is petco. both of which aren't the best, especially the one here in cape girardeau.

We have a Pet Smart Pet food Center and we have a place called Harp's Exoptic Pet Store. They are all pretty good shops Harp's is kewl because they know so much about the exotic pets and we have 2 iguanas and 2 firebelllied toads too. Along with 3 hamsters 2 cats and 17 hermit crabs.

i think it is just wrong how people at pet stores dont know anything about the animals they sell, this is how most pet hermies die, because of lack of knowlagein pet store staff.
