Hi Guys! I'm a newer hermie owner. I started with a 29 gallon tank and 2 hermies almost a year ago. I honestly never thought I would be the proud owner of my guys, but after I started working at a local pet store, I feel in love with them and had to have some! I've done hours upon hours of research, however, I'm still trying to learn what is best for my guys. I currently have a 40 breeder tank with 4 PPs and picked up a tank of 3 hermies today that I adopted. They will be combined eventually.
Besides my hermies, my fiancee and I have 6 cats, 3 zebra finches, 1 mouse, 1 leopard gecko, 2 crested geckos, and 2 bettas. Yup, we have our own little zoo. My degree is in veterinary technology but I do not currently work in my field.

Welcome to Hermit Crab Paradise! Sounds like you and your fiancee have quite the menagerie! I'm glad that your crabs are doing well and that you're doing the research on how to keep them happy and healthy. They're a bit finicky to get set up initially but once you get the setup down they're pretty simple to maintain.
