Preserving Moss

Post by erikleeson »

Ok, so I'm gonna get Finnigan tomorrow, and I'm also gonna get 3 shower caddies for 3 bucks at the dollar store and create my second level. It'll be great!

But I got some Q's...

1. Has anybody tried Exo Terra Forrest Moss Substrate? It comes in a brick, is this safe for the hermies? I want to increase humidity and I hear this works and that the crabs LOVE the moss.

2. The brick will give me WAY more moss than I wanted, can I preserve this for a playground? How?

Thank you! Tomorrow I will post pictures of Finnigan and the second levels!

You can smash the brick (before you soak it) and take the pieces off you need.

and besure to post pictures of it done!

I have that moss for Finnigan (gecko). I'm not too sure about the hermies though. I'm sure it would be fine though. :)
