How long can hermit crabs live without water? Question asked because about 4 days she had climbed out of her home area, fell out, now she's MISSING somewhere in the house and I cannot find her. I had listened for her but nothing. Also, where do they tend to travel once they have gotten out of their home?

Have you tried the instructions in the Escape page?

Chances are she may have died from dehydration, but you can set up water dishes throughout the house. Put some sand around the dishes (but not in them). If any of the dishes later have sand in them then your hermit crab may have drank from there recently, so start hunting there.
