Is this sea weed safe?

Well i found this sea weed and i was woundering if its safe for them? Because its so cheap.

It looks like paper but smells and tastes like fish/sea water.

It might be safe. There's no way to know until you actually let them try some. However, it mentions seasoning, but in the ingredients, it doesn't list any seasoning...

Well i ate some and it tasted like fish but, dont know if its post to taste like fish lol. Well it has no perservitives in it so maybie i will just give them a little bit.

Edit: well i found this on the side of the box "We make our health-consious snaks with only finest ingredients provided by mother nature. No artificial colors, flavors, or perservitives."

It sounds safe to me. Their "seasoning" might be the olive oil and salt. Is this stuff cheaper than the seaweed you can get at the pet food store? I mean, if you like to eat it, then great! it's good for you. But if you want to find something just for feeding your crabs I'd stick to the pet store stuff, since it's probably not cooked so that all the enzymes are killed in it. :)

I think i will feed him this when i am out of the other stuff and when the store doesnt have the other sea weed instock.

Emergency seaweed :) hehe

I have been fortunate to find spirulina powder and kelp granules for sale in the bulk foods area of the natural foods section of my local grocery store. It is VERY cheap when purchased this way.
