Suggestion - clearer pps info link?

Post by appps »

Firstly I should add that maybe I read it somewhere else so maybe that's why I can't find it but have spent last 5 minutes trying to find the article on pps and how to avoid related deaths.

Looked in crab care and no headings popped out as likely to contain it and then the database and downloads and saw nothing that looked likely.

Just thinking it's such an important bit of information for new owners it wouldn't hurt to make it easier to find. I mean I knew it exists somewhere and was looking but new owners may know nothing about it so wont know to search for it but it needs to be one of the first things they read.

Oh and yes off to use the search feature to track it down, but if i was new i wouldnt know about it to search for it :-)

Just a thought!! Love the site, well done!

There is no single article on PPS here as I wrote the Crab Care section to have information about PPS embedded throughout. Most will be on the Weather page.

There is a direct link to the PPS article that Sue/ aka RFCrabs had written:

http://crabstreetjournal.com/xoops/modu ... storyid=22

But was updated a bit due to it being (?) a bit confusing to new crabbers about not offering a deep substrate to newbie hermies. Not to let them burrow to help them de-stress:

http://crabstreetjournal.com/xoops/modu ... toryid=165

(In case you are not aware) When it is mentioned "embedded" as an "Embedded link" they are usually in bold or highlighted text.

Edited to add:
It is also a hyperlink in the Newbies Start Here thread that is also sent to all new members of HCP sister site. (If you put your mouse over the "Newbies Start Here" it should highlight and if clicked take you there.)
