Should I mix species?

I have 8 PPs and one ruggie. Should I buy another ruggie so that he isnt "left out" he seems to be antisocial and only comes out when I take him out and play with him or give him a bath. I need to know soon. I dont want him dying because he didnt have a friend!!

it would be nice to have a rug-buddie for him. on HCAssociation they siad species need same species friends...or the crab are happier that way.

that's definatally an E, but i think E's and Ruggies go good together.

ok i've been looking at my 3 new guys and athena looks slightly different. zeus and aries are both definately PPs but athena is reddish-purple all over. her big claw is not the distinct color that the others are. and her eyes, are lower. the others' eyes will go up in a V shape. athena's go up a little but pretty much stay even with her claws, if that makes sense. her eyes remain forward, not up. is she a PP?

See how purple Zeus' claw is? All of my other hermies have this color claw

This is Athena, hers is much darker than the others, is she still a PP?

Well the pics are a bit blurry but I would say they are both PPs. I have a PP that is very light in color and another who I though was a strawberry because she is so dark. They are all different colors because of what they eat. If you want a more definate answer post more pics and maybe some of the whole crab not just the BP.

that makes sense. i've never had anything but PPs and their big claws have always been a bright color. athena's whole body is a dark maroon, so i wasn't sure. thanks!
