One of the crabs my son got stays inside it's shell until it is totally quiet in the house...so I can't get a decent picture, sorry.
But, I'm wondering what type of species it may be...
It's pincher, at the bottom (away from the pinchers themselves) is kind of light purple like a purple claw...but it has a beautiful rose color to it...so we call it "Rosie".
Any clue what this species might be?

could be a purple pincher...but they have other characteristics. try to get a pic when she becomes more friendly and active. sometimes you just need to spend time holding her so she gets to know you.
