I agree. The only time I will separate the crabs is if I hear very loud chirping and suspect a shell fight. I myself don`t classify anything else as fights - not even the alpha crab things. I think that feeding any meat at least every 2 weeks also helps fighting. I feed them meal worms and shrimps now and then. I'm also going to soon try silk worms and snails. All of which are pre killed. When I clean out the tank it'll take me a while so I will put the crabs in a bin with a fish head from a butcher and it will keep the crabs occupied while I clean out the tank.
