How long have you had this hermie?
You need to troubleshoot what is stressing him if you have had him for awhile:

A month is not a very long time, and your hermie maybe displaying PPS. Please read and follow (and leave him be)

They will if he survives. He will molt and grow new ones.
It's important that your tank conditions are correct as well, I do hope you checked the link that Ladybug gave you to find out just why your crab lost his legs. If you don't, and you don't fix the problem, he will most likely die.

I'm going to elaborate a little more on this.
In reality it is not a 100% 'given' that when a hermie molts they will regenerate their lost limbs. A hermie needs to be fed a proper well balanced healthy diet so he/she can regenerate healthy gel limbs, hence being able to regenerate their lost limbs. Their other criteria proper temp, humidity, substrate must also be met.

I think Wai is saying that it is impolite to use the avatar of another member.
It would be polite for you to change your avatar to something else. If you have a picture you want made into an avatar and have too much difficulty making it yourself, you can try asking in chirp & chat to see if anyone is available to help you with it.
