Sorry to hear that.
Proud mommy of 2 beautiful daughters Kytana and Danica, 1 cat Princess and 1 dog Liebschen

Due to family issues my crabs have been adopted out to wizkidsmom (Cheryl), I know she will care for them like I did. Thanks Cheryl

I am sorry for your loss. Is your dad going to buy you a new one? They need to have a nother hermie with them or they will become depressed and die.

Sorry for your loss. :( The majority of mine died when I was dragged overseas to see my other family members and I had to leave them all at my neighbour's to look after. It was summer during Christmas, and many of them decided to moult at that time and failed to survive.

Yeah, and it does seem somewhat embarrassing to me to be an administrator of a hermit crab forum yet I've lost so many hermit crabs in the process. I have done my best to gain as much knowledge as I can since the death of my last hermit crab, Neptune, in July 2005.

I often gave advice to other people that I wouldn't be able to apply myself, because I wasn't allowed to get a glass tank or an UTH and I was scolded every time when I went to change the water and food, since that didn't classify as being a form of "studying". My parents still aren't convinced that sand is an ideal substrate for hermit crabs; they believe what the pet stores say.

I am really grateful that you guys have continued appreciating my advice, even though I have made so many mistakes in the past. Same case with Kyrie. She may have lost many hermit crabs in the past, but she has also rescued countless numbers of them.

Once I start crabbing again, I'll have to see whether the stuff I learnt is good or not.
