I couldn't really think of anywhere else to post this, so...
Anyways, I have this idea: You know how hermit crabs don't have any holiday? Exactly! I think someone should make an official National Hermit Crab Day (official amongst crabbers, of course.) It would be a day where crabby owners would stop and take some time to do something special for their little friend, such as concoct a nice treat for them, do a very thorough inspection on their crabitat, or even just take them out to exercise. If this was a holiday, it would have to be in a month that doesn't have too many holidays.
What do you guys think?

There is sort of an event that does repeat itself in a couple well known hermie forums.
Long story short, there was a crabber who dedicated a LOT of time to help with hermie awareness and it does repeat itself every year:
