Most of the books are probably a ittle old. There just needs to be a little research, so the books can be updated.

My temp is usually around 30 degrees Celsius
Humidity is almost always higher than 75%

I use a 100 Watt repti glo light bulb for day and a 50 w moonglo bulb for at night. This allows cooler nights which is what the crabs experience in the wild. To humidify, I spray the tank alot and have a wet towel over my lid.

Do you have a heater? I would maybe spray with salt water everything and then put the heater on. I also think you need something more on your lid too. What do you use for a lid? If it is a screen lid cover 90% of it with saran wrap.

Due to family issues my crabs have been adopted out to wizkidsmom (Cheryl), I know she will care for them like I did. Thanks Cheryl

I do not have a heater. I am purchasing one in the winter. I use a metal gritted lid that came with the 20gal. Idk what your talking about saran wrap?

Saran warp is a type of plastic, it's thin and clings to everything lol. You can find it at any grocery store with the plastic bags.

Mr. Crab-
What do you have in your tank? Sponges help the humidity, as does keeping your sand moist (sand-castle consistency).
