yeah, that's what happens. mines are a lighter brown, but it depends on the hermie too. mine are actually, believe it or not, all have different likes and dislikes to food lol. it's kind of annoying.+

I never see all of the crabs eating but I always find tons of poop. They all love kelp korn though.
