(my best infomercial impression right there
Anyway, I was at Pet Valu getting some cuttlebone when I saw a package of dried fruit pieces that was meant for birds. So I checked out the package and I think it seems like a nice food for the hermies.
Basically, its dried pieces of fruit, with no added flavor or sugars. And they had a wide variety of "bird food" Dried coconut, dried apple, carrots and greens, raspberries, papaya, mango citrus, and mixed nuts. All natural. All safe.
I bought 2 of them along with my cuttlebone, papaya and coconut apparently two of their favorites.
I have yet to see the results, but for those who are wondering, heres the back package.
Mix these all natural dried fruit pieces into your birds food for some variety. Contains no added artificial sugars or flavors.

The pack was only $1 each too, and one pack was very generous towards a hermit crab. Each bit is the size of a large pea, and you only need 4 pieces if using with other fruits. and it has at least 200 pieces. Thats awesome!
Definitely buy a pack if it appeals to you. I hope the hermies like it.
