Spraying crabs with water

Maybe it depends on the type of mister you use. We use one of those that you buy in the camping supplies that you take with you camping or to the beach. You pump the base up and then open the nozzel and it very lightly lets out a small fine mist. Mine come out of their shells and start drinking it. Of course we have dechlorinated water in it. It also makes it easier to use and mist the sides of the tank without getting the sand/substrate too wet.
