The only time I witnessed my crabs eating was when I had coconut or birthday cake (without any cream) in there. They didn't seem as fanatic about the other stuff I put in there.

My hermit crabs eat occasionally. Gilbert has been eating frequently, but he just molted.

Ever try shrimp, silversides, or sardines? With out hermies here, the stinkier the better. :|
