OMGOODNESS yes! I can imagin! (well, not really "imagin" becuase it DOES happen with me, too!).
THey do totally wreck the tank, espcially when they are new comers!! XD

my boyfriend has "custody" of the crabs this week, until i come home this weekend and take them back here with me on sunday. he called me last night at 11 and complained that lemi was keeping him up. lemi came up from his molt 2 sundays ago. apparently he decided to redecorate last night. he was climing the background, moving the legos, he dragged the tree from one side of the freshwater pool to the other side, moving the rocks in the bottom of the pool. it was kind of funny. i told him that lemi was in his prime temp and it's dark, what did he expect? it was funny.

LOL! I sometimes here my crabs in the middle of the night, it sometimes freaks me out befoer relizing it's just the crabs.

Lemi must have a very creative mind. He should go into professional interrior designing!

I read somewhere that if they do not chirp it means they are happy and continent. The time my hubby heard ours chirp was when he rreached in and picked the crab up and it seemed to scare her.

i've heard that too. they usually chirp when they feel like they are being attacked or are just startled. Some chirp because...well, they just want to!

huh. i thought chirping was like a dog's bark. well, although it's good to know that mine are happy, i wish they were more of the "chirp bc i want to" type. lol.
