What commercial food should i give my hermit crabs since i just found out that FMR food is bad for them?

None, they need fresh foods like fruits and veggies you eat and then meat before it is cooked and seasoned, you can cook it but I am finding they like the raw meat better. You should never have to buy hermit crab food. I did buy some dried foods from the addiction store and the crabbage patch online and at the petsmart in the bird food section that has dried coconuts and apples. But you should never feed them the commercial foods as they have harmful chemicals in them that could kill them.

The only kibbles I trust are the organic homemade kibbles made from hermit crab food websites. They have everything crabs need and nothing that they don't. If you want to make food go further stock up on dried foods and give them fresh foods whenever you have them at home. Can't get fresh shrimp? then get some dehydrated shrimp at the pet store. It will last you forever. Well in reality it will last until it expires but it seems like forever.

If you must get commercial food, then yes, only buy those from online hermit crab stores such as the Hermit Crab Addiction Store (vckums's store) and Crabotanicals (Jedi_Sena's store). I don't really trust the so-called hermit crab pellets in pet stores, because those manufacturing the food may not even have a clue as to what hermit crabs need in their diet.

Remember, hermit crabs are not so "exotic" that the only foods they can digest that we have access to are pellets. Fruit (preferably organic, or you can peel the skin off if you want to), meat and some commercial treats from online stores are good.

On thecrabbagepatch.com I love to get the Colarado Kibble. Mine LOVE it. If you want to feed them something like that, then it's great. Complete diet for them. Shrimp, veggies, nuts and things like that. They like variety though, so you should switch it up with that and fresh stuff.
