My new E!

Post by Gizaroo »

I went into Pet Forum today to get some driftwood for one of my betta tanks, and looked at the hermies like I always do. They had 2 of their 3 tanks full of nothing but Es! (Or pineapples as they called them last time! lol) This one little guy, or gal, caught my eye as he was just tearing around the tank throwing shells and just having a fit. I asked one of the workers if I could take him out and look at him and he said sure. The little fella is not afraid at all. He zoomed out of his shell to see what I was! It was too funny lol. I've been dying to get another E to keep Banjo company. Poor Blu just doesn't have the energy to keep up with her. This one is smaller, but I think will be a good companion for her. He has no missing limbs or parts of limbs, and a few of his legs even have black tips. They had some big Es too, but none of them were active like this guy was. He was the only one running around the tank getting into things.

He's situated currently in the critter carrier I have (in the salt water right now), which I will be putting a heater on shortly. I'm hoping to switch out the heater on the 5.5 gal tank with the UTH i got for it a few months back, and if all works well, the one that is on the side of that will go on the critter carrier. I'd like to get a 2.5 gal glass tank to use as an ISO, but that will have to wait for now.

Here's 2 pics :) I will get more as he gets situated. I think he's an E anyways lol. I know he's not a PP.

I'm jealous! Haha. XD We practically never ONE E... forget tanks full! I got my E's in Ocean City, MD and I had to go all over to find them. I found one shop that had 2 of them and that's it. At that point I didn't know what they were, just that they looked different.

Good Luck with your new little one :)

Haha, thanks :) Yea, I couldn't believe the petstore guy called Banjo a pineapple (the first one I got from there). I didn't even bother asking him what she was.

I checked yesterday, and my lil fella is actually a girl. Lol :) She has gonopores!
