need new climbing background

I need a new climbing wall for my tank. the one i have is not mold resistant....i learned that the hard way But i havent had much success with google, so can you all help me please? :] thank you :]

If the humidity is too high, if there is not enough air circulating, if food or food oils get on a back ground... there is not a mold resistant back ground that I am aware of so it is important to maintain the 3 above to cut back on mold.

thank you but what do you mean by air circulation? Meaning is there always air circulating in the room or in the tank?

Not sure about your home, but as a rule here if we have the doors and windows closed and no fans, air conditioning or furnace on the air is still other than the possibility of one of us 'walking by' creating a small 'breeze'. Even if the central air conditioning or furnace are on there is actually little air movement in our home. For this reason I use fans in our home. There is one that is designated just for keeping the air moving where the tanks are, I keep it on low osculate even in the winter. I also have our lids open on each side a little as an air 'in' air 'out' type effect.
Doesn't take a very large fan to keep air moving around the tank.

o ok, i understand now. My hermit crabs live with me in my dorm room and the air condition is always on and the window is always open unless it's raining. So theres pretty good circulation. :]

depending on th size of your tank, if you have a 10 or 20 gallon this works good. You can get a nifty Knitter If You Don't Know how to Knit and Knit a background out of Hemp. You Can buy the hemp strig and the nifty Knitter both at walmart. After you get done Knitting it I Dunk it in Saltwater and then hang it to dry. The salt keeps it from molding. Then You can get plastic suction cups from the Bathroom section and Hang the net to the back of the Aquarium. Just a thought, I make hemp hammocks and ladders they love climbing them. As long as you salt and dry them its all good. Once every two months I re dunk them in Salt water and dry them to clean them off and get them to stedy not mold.
