I read somewhere that feeding your hermies babyfood veggies (carrots, green peas etc) is a healthy choice for them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i remember talking about baby food and organic food. i know that applesauce is one on their "to eat" lists. i have yet to try that one. but i wouldn't think baby food was any different, unless it has some kind of chemicals in it. i dunno. if anyone finds anything out that'd be great info!

it's probably okay, considering, its BABY food, you know, for babies? so it must be safe, that's what i would think!

apple sauce does work. i usually use it when i am too lazy to cut up apples. lol

i bought some unsweetened apple sauce this weekend, so we'll try that tonight. they have bananas in there now. bebe was on top of them last night for a good 10-15 mins (long time for a crab).

yeah it is. lemi goes nuts over grapes. that's his fav food. i don't know if wendy has a favorite yet. she molted a week after i got her and she was under for 4 weeks, so we haven't had a lot of time to bond. we'll keep trying things and see if she has a favorite

lol! they tend to go down under rigth when you bring them home! its annoying in a way!!

my crabs aren't picky. they eat just about everything.

i kinda wish mine would, that way i wouldn't worry. oh well, i'll just have to keep in mind what foods work and what don't. we'll just have to wait and see. lol.
