egg shells

i heard that they eat egg shells if you crush them up, is this true?

True, they are rich in calcium and protein.

I keep egg shells in there at all times. If you can get the slimmy skin stuff off of the inside of the shell they do not get smelly or nasty. They last longer.

i agree with iluvhermies. peel off the "skin" in the shell. Sometimes if you don't want to peel it off, let to shell dry out for a few days and it works good, too.
