is this normal???

Hi,

Well my first two crabs seem to be settling just fine. My only question is, is it normal for them to bury themselves for a while, come up, walk around, bury themselves again, come up, walk around, drink, bury themselves again...Is this a sign of moulting? They both look good, they're pretty active....moving evvveerrryything around...lol. They seem to be eating(i know one is). Could they also be destressing since I only brought them home yesterday? That is what I had first assumed.

The biggest one "Stimpy", changed his shell within 20 minutes of being in his new home, I was surpirsed.

yeah! it's totally normal, new crabs like to burry them selves and de-stress and sometimes molt rigth away.

my crabs love to dig. they will dig tunnels under the water dishes and suh and just come up randomly.

Yah Julius Ceaser(my biggest crab) loves to dig tunnels.

Ok it this ironic or not...I was talking to Manson(my smallest crab, penny size). He was in his shell, but came out when I started talking to him. All I have to say is....cooooll...

can't they sense vibrations with their feelers? that is cool though. mine don't give me a chance to talk to them. you pick them up and they come out "what's up!" lol

i constantly talk to the crabs. my parents think that i'm insane talking to them. they don't see the point. it was cute today bc i have 2 giant huts and one little one. i picked the little one up earlier and there was aries wendy (mediums), ike bebe and craig (smalls) were all huddled inside. i moved aries and wendy to in front of the big hut and picked up bebe. i held her for a while and set her in front of the small hut to see if she'd go in. she turned around and went next door to the big hut. i started laughing and was like "that's my girl!"
