Do I need to apply the banner or is that a job for our Captain?

Re: Registered Adopters
This only the Captain (Wai) should do after it is announced that one has been approved as an adopter.
If one adds it themselves... there is a consequence... don't remember what it is...
But Wai will add it...

Re: Registered Adopters
You can apply the banner yourself after you have been approved, but I've done it for you already anyway.
It's just those who haven't been approved who aren't supposed to have it in their signature.

Another drum roll please!
Please add the adopter banner to bugboy (aka King Author-Pod elsewhere). He's been an adopter for awhile now. Welcome to HCP bugboy!!

The Hermit Crab Adoption Center is pleased to welcome ayume to the adoption center. She has met the strict criteria needed to help hermies live a healthy thriving life while in captivity and has opened her crabitat to those in need of a home.

Re: Registered Adopters
Thank you and all the adopters for being there for our little ones and for caring enough to provide all they need to thrive by while living in captivity. Also for have such large hearts for opening your crabitats for those in need to have a place to call home.

Re: Registered Adopters
hello
is this an active list?
about a month ago i filled out an "application" .
I'm in the US - new york area and am desperately looking to re-home my 2 pp's with an experienced crabber.
any information on how to go about this would be very helpful.
thank you

Re: Registered Adopters
Prior to even attempting to look for an adopter an e-mail is sent out to the adoptee with the hermies in need of a home. If the e-mail is not replied to, no further action is taken.
Too many times one does not reply to the e-mails for various reasons...
Changed their minds about adopting out their hermies
Already found somebody to take them
They never received the e-mail due to a typo when typing the addy or it went to their spam folder, etc. Looking up adopters that might be in the area takes time, then contacting that adopter to see if they are able to adopt... etc.
Edited to add: It was received on
