HCP has a safe and unsafe food list here(from Epicurean Hermit) for everyone to check out. It's always being added to and updated. You're going to be surprised at all the stuff they can have that's safe!

I think those would be safe, but I'm not sure if they'd be a hit.

I didn't think maple leaves would be a hit...but they are! I think cherry pits would have to be worked hard at with their claws to get pieces off.

To the best of my knowledge and the last I have read, any citrus peels should be 'aged' wrinkled prior to offering. The seeds of apples maybe unsafe:
