Thank you Kristina! Per the second picture, you have a beautifully colored E hermie there!! The stitch marks, They are raised 'markings' on the large pincher that look like this. //// In the second picture, they are on the top part (bottom 'section') of the large pincher, but going down the along the top part of the top side down to the opened pincher. (You would need to look very closely, but once you see them there would be no mistaking them... sorry I do not know how to 'draw' on a picture or I could point them out even on the rug picture I added to this thread. His too are along the top part of the picture, but going down the last sections top side of it.)
As for his missing 'end', the picture of my Clipper his tip is missing too. He was this way when I bought him (Yes it is an older picture) and unfortunately when hermies are captured, if they are holding on too many times as opposed to waiting for the hermies to let go of what they are holding onto, the poachers just clip the ends of their legs off.. or whatever they are holding on with. :'(
Thank you again.. he is a absolutely beautiful hermie!! :D

As armature as it is, I have used paint and airbrushed on the picture and circled the location in red to show the location of the 'stitch mark' location on the large pincher. Hope this helps Kristina. They are located in the same place on E's, rugs, straws and other species that have them.

Scoops is an E. They are usually much more active than PPs, so that is normal. If you can, I would get one more of each species.
