Supposedly the site changed hands and the owner of the site came to a hermie forum asking for help with the hermies as she was restarting all over again with them trying to rebuild the store's reputation. But I def. agree that this is so way overboard. :S

Would be nice to know for sure if they did change owners. This isn't the first time this has been stated about that site. After X amount of complaints... same old "We have changed owners".

The jumbo straws I found here are $89.00 AUD each. Straws are a beautiful species, but their nature and size makes them extra difficult to look after.

lol!! i love straws there so adorabal and they could well be worth $400, but if every one else is selling them for like $3-10,then why would they even go there?!?

The price on the link that was posted is for one dozen straws. Individually sold they are on sale for $12.99. Not $400.

It's worth the price for a healthy animal and also, straws are THE hardest species of any hermie to keep. ;) I could never keep one cause I don't have the resources.

$12 for one isn't so bad because they are very rare.
