Yay PetCo!!!

There is a PetCo very close to my home here in Houston, TX that is really doing well with their tank conditions. I am proud of the way they have made everything better for their hermies.

I just bought a little hermie from the PetCo near me...now I'm very new at the hermit crab thing, but I've always thought that the conditions the little crabbies were in were very good!

the conditions at the petco here seem to be okay... I'm a bit concerned about how they have a wire top to the cage... they had no way to check the humidity or temp... the crabs they had ranged in all sizes, the only jumbos they have are staws! most of the smalls are in painted shells, but the bigger ones are all in natural shells... must be, they arive smalls in painted shells, and later choose natural shells! I was glad to see that...
