I found this soup mix at the shops with 11 beans and pulses in it are they all ok i know some are but i was not sure about them all... Pearl barley, Yellow split peas, Grean split peas, Mung beans , white beans, Red split lentils, Small red beans, Black eye beans, Faba beans, Whole green lentils and Pinto beans. If anyone could tell me if there all ok that would be great. Thanks.
Barley is safe, as are the lentils and mung beans. I'm not sure what the difference is between split peas and regular peas. I'm not sure on the rest, but they aren't on the unsafe list. Does the soup mix have spices at all in it? If so, it wouldn't be safe, unfortunately.
Yes it is a dried soup mix, and there is no mention of salt. i just thought it would be good to cover that aspect of the crabs diet as it had so many beans and pulses in it.
