Kids & Crabs.. Funny tonight....lol

Ok... So for those who dont know... I own a motel...
I have my babies set up in my reception... They seem to be coping with it pretty well... The poor little kids don't seem to be though...lol

Had a couple in tonight with a 3 y.o. & 18M.O....
The 3yo has decided they are prawns...lol His reaction was the funniest... He was great when he could see them in the shell... But when they started moving around.... He freaked! after a while he calmed down so I decided to grab 1 of my social boys out.... He begged for me to put lid on the prawns!! LMAO... He was very curious... but they looked to much like spiders for him...lol

How cute! A lot of my friends tell me they'd be grossed out by hermit crabs... but I never got that feeling about them. I love their eyes.

yeah same here their eyes are soo cute and the way they flick around is irresistable my friends freak they go: OMG!!!! how can you stand to touch it! (If they saw a crab shell changing a fainting spell would be probable ) they shake their heads whenever I talk about them.

I had Stripey out for a run tonight & a little girl who's staying fell in love... For the next hour she was demanding (To her mother) for hermies for chrissy... Child very happy... Mum not so... Especially while playing eye spy & the only "riddle" the girl would do was Hermit Crabs.... LOL
Her Mum was asking about the setting up, care etc... Expecct a new memberr soon...

Did you warn her that hermit crabs are expensive to keep?

Told her about everthing she will need etc...
Sounds like the girl gets what she wants though...
