Does anyone know what colours hermit crabs can see? Humans can see all colours and I think dogs can only see black and white (correct me if I'm wrong), but what colours can hermit crabs see?

dogs can see blue too.

i don't know about crabs....

that's a good question. i've wondered how far can they see? i wonder if we could research it and see what we come up with

whenever I walk up to the tank to watch Jilly, she jumps into her shell... buuuut, if I crawl up and peak my head up reaaaaal slow, it takes her awhile to notice I'm there! haha

Their eyes are compound, which means they are made up of many small lenses. The images they see are compossed of tiny pieces. Still looking to see what colors.
