heaters

Post by lilhermitgirl17 »

I was just wondering if there are undertank heaters that you can control the heat. on my small tank you just plug it in, and sometimes it gets too hot, so I have to always be checking it, and unplugging it or plugging it in. Before I buy one for my big tank I was just wondering if there were some that I can SET the temp.
Thanks!

I've heard of them from fellow crabbers, so yes. Try looking online, or asking the HCA forum who has one, and where you might find one. After all, you're bound to get a lot more replies than you have here.

My UTH also does the same thing but I invested in a thermostat which you set to a safe temp and the UTH wont heat above the setting. They range in price the most expensive one has a probe which you insert into the substrate gives you total peace of mind,
