I Found Some EEs!!!!

After Looking all over the area and online for some EEs I Had given up and just figured down the line I would order some online despite their 20 price tag. However Tonight I came across some at my local petstore, I went in to upgrade to a larger tank and saddly passed by the Crab tank which Is Deplorable!!!!!!!! Flys knats and Dead Crabs everywhere!!!!! THere was one totally red Purple pincher in the middle of the water dish with no water so I of course took pity and saved him, And then looking further in the tank I saw a little brown crab running around trying to dig in the corner, Well when I Picked him Up to my surprise It was a ee!! Ive never seen one in real life so I was quite taken so I got a few EEs and the Red PP Ill Call him Big red he’s super friendly! Any Hoo Just thought Id Share And Have noticed they are much more lively have a super grip and are quiet happay in cheerful after getting some saltwater a bath and A new Isolation tank until they are out of Quarentine!

Australian hermit crabs are similiar in appearance to the Ecuadorians. I wonder how long they've been apart for...

At closer inspection I was wondering if I had Rugggies instead of Equidorians Im pretty sure Their EEs But does anyone know Specific things to tell those apart? These guys aren't micro they are a pretty good size

The easiest thing to look for is black smudges under the eye stalks. Rugs have these. Pics would be very helpful too
