puss?

ok, so there's a weird spot on Speedy's big claw.. over the last few weeks, the black hair on him has gotten thicker (if that makes sense) now there's what looks like puss on his claw

it's so hard to explain, I'll see if I can get a photo of it if that would help..

I went to take the photo, and it's gone! argh.. guess I should have gotten a pic while I had the chance! anyone else seen something like this? :s

yeah, I thought it was a bit odd too... lets see... the night before was some store bought hermie food, a few shrimp treats and a chunk of an orange to pick off of...

i've put oranges in with my crabs, maybe i should watch for green stuff....has it come back since?

I use oranges and i have never noticed the green...maybe it was old food that was in the substrate or something...?

nope, nothin has showed up since... it mighta just been somethin on the claw... I tried to brush it away, but I'm not a fan of bein pinched so I didn't bother it too much
