Can't go in, fine... go on top!
My crab Jupiter always had an interest in the clay house in the tank. She continues to try figure a way to get in, but despite her size, she's not even close to getting into the door. One way is if she's willing to abandon her shell and squeeze in, but I don't she'd do that anyway. Her first plan was to switch shells! She changed into this brown shell (but it was the same size as her current one
), and tried squeezing through the door. No hope of course, and she changed back. So last night, I saw her on the ROOF of the clay house! How the heck did she get up there!? She does have very long legs, so she probably climbed up from the side and onto the slanting side of the roof. Then she continued to climb up further and further, and held onto the chimney as hard as she could. She couldn't climb out of the tank since I have a lid on top. Ah... they're so imaginative aren't they?
